Love and Marriage

I have been up to my elbows in bridal flowers for most of the past week.  Five buckets of flowers....

Yes, those are calla lilies with dark purple centers.  They were very unique - and beautiful!!  The lavendar roses were so pretty with them. 

I forget how many boutonnieres (19?)

Bridal bouquet, Bridesmaid's bouquets, and nosegays for family......

This picture doesn't do them justice.  The bride's bouquet was gorgeous (if I say so myself!). No, I can't take credit for it all.  There were about eight of us working on them for two days.  We were concerned because the outside temperatures here have been hovering between 105-110 degrees.  The flowers arrived on Wednesday morning.  We worked on the boutonnieres on Wednesday, and the bouquets on Thursday.  The wedding was Friday evening. In the end, I thought they held up pretty well.  

The chapel was decorated on Friday afternoon.....

The Bride and Groom were pretty gorgeous themselves!!
