Weekend Tour and the Chippendales

We arrived back home last night around 8:00 pm.  I didn't turn on my computer or unpack anything....just crawled in bed and flipped on the TV.  Hubby had to do a few things on his computer to catch up, but we turned the lights off a little before 10.  Poor Hubby had to get up and go to work, but I had the luxury of waking up to whatever time was on the clock this morning.  When I finally pried my eyes open it was 9:45 am!!  I can't even remember the last time I slept in that late!  YIKES!!

Our World Tour included:
NEW YORK
PARIS

EGYPT

DANCING WATERS

Alright,.......it was Las Vegas.  It just seemed like we walked around around the world - and more than once!  I actually lost weight this weekend.  We also went to see "Menopause, The Musical."  I laughed until I cried!  It was so totally age appropriate!

As for the Chippendales?   .....I had my own chipmunky version.  Chip and Dale and Alvin...... (aka: Hubby, David, and Larry) They were extremely attentive to my every wish.  Can you tell? So what do you do when you come to Vegas with three men?  Check on Facebook of course!  In the buffet....with the old people.  WHOOOHOOOO!!
We were actually in Vegas for Race Weekend.  Saturday was a good day at the track for them, and I took the rental car and gps on a tour of Las Vegas.  It's really a nice town if you get off the strip.  I took in a couple of quilt shops, and managed to snag some fabric and a quilt ruler that I'd had my eye on.  Sunday was kind of a downer for all.  I stayed on the strip and did some shopping.  I didn't buy much because everything is so expensive, but I did manage to make a sales guy really mad!  (Long story)  The guys were there to witness the tragic death of a driver, so they were pretty quiet the rest of the evening.  Nearing the end of the weekend, I did have to announce that the trip made me appreciate my husband.  After a few days surrounded by drunken, lusty people (women too) wearing some pretty interesting attire, I was more than ready to settle back in at home with a guy who truly loves me and not grabbing at a flyer that promised a girl in less than 20 minutes.

Hubby tried his best to gamble a little, but he doesn't like slot machines, and the tables were too rich for his liking.  I did take a couple of machines for a spin, but pretty quickly decided that fabric was a better bet!

Gratitude for:
- A husband I can trust!
- Spas.  I managed to get a great pedicure and manicure at the hotel.
- Smooth flights both directions.
